To put that £30m price into perspective. RVP was sold in 2012 for £24m to United.
£24m would be at least £75m in today's market.
Only the fact he wants "us" is stopping just about any other team in the world coming in for him at that price.

I would suggest that its an agreed deal not dependent on Arsenal signing someone but an agreement to hold off for a few days.
