'All Or Nothing' - discussion of documentary

It's decent and the first few eps are very engaging and its great for us blues watching it but as an actual documentary its very average. I liked the insight offered into Txiki/Soriano meetings. Much more could've been included but I guess we don't want to expose too much.

Delph was great though !

It’s class, thoroughly enjoyed it, even episode 7 in a way as it showed how dominant we are to the rags, and how much we were robbed by the officials against the dippers.
Highlights;

“Play football with courage” gives me goosebumps.
Silva speech.
Pep demanding the players best spurs for David and Yessica.
Players singing “oh Kevin De Bruyne “ at Chelsea.
Bernardo sitting open mouthed listening to Pep explain what he wants from them, seems so eager to learn.

Bit underwhelmed and disappointed by it.

Perhaps because I was expecting something else after watching the NFL ones?

Aside from the Pep show, it seems to be nothing more than we actually see every week on the website.

Some nice nuggets but it might have been so much better if Pep and his staff were Mic'd up during games and the players also in training rest periods.

Even the editing is all over the shop, with the Leicester Cup game out of sequence.

Still, we got £10m for it and Amazon can afford it!

If da Vinci can get 450 million dollars for this...…………

10 million for Kev's master brush strokes, is a rip off !!!

People need to realise that the documentary isn't really for us. It's for those who aren't fans fans to watch and get hooked. I'm sure if they did a second series it would focus more on the characters in detail, but at the same time I understand if pep wanted his players to have privacy.

Know what you mean. Should have had more episodes and then more detail and more behind the scenes insights could have been shown.

After watching most of the episodes I now fear that Peps time with us and our success is fleeting. The intensity is so high that it surely will burn out soon. IMO we have this season and next season at most before it’ll change significantly.

I hope we are planning ahead.

Totally agree, said to my missus that after watching, my main thought was that Pep won't be here for the long run, I just don't see how his intensity, his approach to detail and his utter meticulousness can be sustainable...or particularly healthy.

Saw the first one today. Very, very good. Still quite shocking to hear Pep effing and blinding but it's a great programme. How strong was Mendy to be so positive so quickly after a terrible news on his injury?

And as for the narrator, I wouldn't have given it a second thought if I had't read the moaning on here. It's the narrator, it's not really an issue.

When Pep is wound up he is like a cross between Basil Fawlty and Adolf from the videos !

People need to realise its gonna be semi basic. Like someone else said it’s not based on us. Seems to be an American audience.

Hence why they have to explain what the premier league is efc

Although he’s probably the voice most heard.....

Finished it all now. Good, not amazing. I thought it would be something even other clubs fans would enjoy but I know if that was another team I wouldn’t be too fussed. It was built up a bit much for what it then was. The reports from the NFL one set high expectations. Was good seeing some of the behind the scenes bits, can’t imagine it would have been much fun had we had a crap season. Said it a few times but I would have probably kept the fans out of it along with our “celebs”, embarrassing and cringey.

Would have thought they’d have had cameras inside the bus considering it was more than expected what the cult would do, maybe that bit was toned down due to ongoing Merseyside police investigations........ aherm. Hard re living that 7 days with Liverpool and united but was great to see the buzz of the players when we won it given how inevitable it was. Guardiola is a genius.

After watching the series I thought it was excellent.

I despise Liverpool and their players

I’m 4 episodes in and I have trouble deciphering what pep is saying especially when he gets animated. Fuck knows what the players who aren’t English are thinking.

Yes, it could have been much better but maybe we want to keep some stuff under wraps. I really enjoyed the talk Arteta and pep had after sterlings Burnley miss. Wanted more of that. Also would hav been nice to see how the players react to new faces, for instance the Laporte signing. Show him being introduced to the squad.

I did really enjoy seeing the physiological side of Peps methods though. Interesting to see him telling the players they would win the premier league as early as February.
