'All Or Nothing' - NO SPOILERS! - no content discussion

I’m not going to watch it. I can’t worl out what makes me feel so uncomfortable at the thought of it. To me the preview looks like an episode of keeping up with the Kardashian’s. That’s not what city are to me. I like seeing them at matches, with the competitive spirit of tigers fighting for their lives. I don’t wanna see the behind the scenes Kardashian’s drama, unless it’s Pep or the players giving a pre or post match interview. It’s incredibly Americanised. Also, I wonder, how much the footage will reveal in terms of our tactics? I get, teams are aware, ex players etc.., but still, I’m hoping it doesn’t compromise next season.

The Kardashian’s is scripted shite. This a documentary about the club we support, everything is real. Pep can’t fake a team talk just because the cameras are there. Everything we see in this series will be what happens day in, day out at City. What’s not to like?

The tactics are not a secret. The secret is how to play against them.

Christ.

I’m sure it will be fan-tastic, but people need to realize this is being done by an American company, with American sensibilities. I hope people will not mind the manner in which they shape the series, especially considering most people here are deeply informed about almost every event that occurred this season.

I’m really looking forward to it!

I think you meant uninformed, and if that's the case, it's not just Americans.

I’m not disputing this season’s sheer brilliance, but to suggest that 2011/12’s only selling point was the denouement, is wrong. The tussle between City and united started with the Charity Shield and ran for the whole season, up until the final kick. The way we crumbled and then chased united down, when they in turn faltered, would have been utterly compelling viewing.
I suppose you're right on reflection.

Just the derby games that season alone - the Charity Shield, the 6-1, the Cup "defeat" would hold that series up.

wouldn't have been for much longer if the refs hadn't got involved, hence why we had to get our hands dirty. The following 21 point swing over the course of the season was rather "remarkable".

Thanks for reminding me(us) of this. To win by 19 points over a season of 38 games is amazing, but to over turn 21 points in a fraction of that is amazing. I’ll be referencing that fact when my rag ‘mates’ poo poo the 19 point gap !

Quick question. Is Amazon Prime set up the same as Netflix (different programme availability depending on where you live)? If so, is Ireland a separate market to the UK? If so, would the documentary be geographically blocked? And yes, I am aware of proxys and other similar ways around that issue.
