No idea what context he said it in, but the editing of Pep’s “We are close. We are SO close” sends goosebumps right through me.
Nonsense. There's a reason why nearly every coach have come to watch firsthand Pep's training sessions - from Zidane to Tuchel & Sarri. At Barcelona, their open training sessions were fascinating and I was lucky to witness 2 live
Also why I have a lot of confidence Xavi will also be a great coach

He. Was. Fucking. Rested. For. The. CL. On. the. Tuesday.
It was good sense to rest him in the easy game when we were away two days later in the CL.Not, IIRC, the way he saw it at the time.
Anyway, ancient history Sam. Let it go. I only refer to it in the sense that it would have been good telly whatever the rights and wrongs of it.
Christ, yeah. I'd forgotten all about them. What a weird bunch they were. Probably swarming all over the Roma forums now.It was good sense to rest him in the easy game when we were away two days later in the CL.
He wasn’t remotely upset. It was his Bosnian fanboys on here (thank fuck they’ve left) that had a combined fanny wobble.
In all honesty, you could probably make a case for any City season in the last 25 years to be a complete drama. A certain trip to York springs to mind, as does a home 2-2 draw against Liverpool, the appointment of Brian Who as manager, Forward with Franny, and an end of season tour where Joey Barton mistook somebody's face for an ash-tray.
The Beanie the Horse episode could be quite fun. Starring a small stuffed child's toy with no ability to think or function as Stuart Pearce.
Poor Joey. He gets a bad rep and next thing is people make up all sorts...That was the Christmas party. On the tour he merely started a fight with a child
I don’t know, there may be a 17th climax to come. Hold post-production! ;-)Final scene all done, Pep signing :)
