Anyone else find it odd that it's only City players that don't like Manchester yet them from down the road seem to like it just fine? One for the conspiracy theorists I think.
Former Manchester City striker Robinho has stuck the knife into the club and confessed he sympathises with Mario Balotelli's plight.
Balotelli has confessed that, although he is happy with the playing side of things at Eastlands, he has struggled to adapt to life in the north west.
Robinho also failed to find his feet in Manchester after making a big-money move from Real Madrid back in 2008.
The Brazilian was initially loaned to Santos back in his homeland before making a permanent switch to AC Milan in 2010.
Balotelli moved the other way, signing on at City from Inter Milan at the start of the 2010-2011 campaign.
He was sent off twice last season and was involved in a few controversial incidents but did show glimpses of his undoubted talent with 10 goals in 28 appearances in all competitions.
Boss Roberto Mancini is desperate for the Italian international hit-man to settle, as he needs a full squad for the club's assault on silverware this season and the news of Balotelli's unhappiness will have left him pondering the youngster's future.
Robinho has sided with the former Lumezzane star and painted a bleak picture of life in Manchester.
"It doesn't surprise me," he said. "He's not the first one to have difficulty in that city. I don't know if he will decide to stay or go.
"But I admit that I understand him. You don't live well in Manchester."

I can't think of one though if I was being paid £150k a week
United probably have a strict no speaking to the press in any kind of derogatory manner about the club or the city policy. If that rule is broken it can possibly effects all future transfers to the club because the club or the city has a bad name. Severe fines are probably in place there to stop this happening and we all know what Fergie is like.blueangie said:Anyone else find it odd that it's only City players that don't like Manchester yet them from down the road seem to like it just fine?

Balotelli, young and misses home (he did say it was his hometown he missed and not milan)
But there's one detail i really don't get....
If Carlos Tevez dislikes Manchester so much, why then when leaving Manchester United did he CHOOSE to stay in Manchester with Manchester City?
