Robinho i can understand. Hot spanish speaking country, to a hard hostile footballing environment. I don't think he'd ever have settled.

Balotelli, young and misses home (he did say it was his hometown he missed and not milan)

But there's one detail i really don't get....

If Carlos Tevez dislikes Manchester so much, why then when leaving Manchester United did he CHOOSE to stay in Manchester with Manchester City?

Industrialised Manchester lacks the 'charisma' of places such as Madrid , Milan and Barcelona ..... and all these players know that before they even come here , so what are they expecting !

I agree. These players sign long contracts and commence whinging half-way through them. This kind of reminds of a scene from Fawlty Towers, when the deaf woman complains about the view from her window and says it isn't good enough. Basil responds, "May I ask what you expected to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically...?"

what really fooks me off with these ungrateful bastards is they dont live in Manchester - most of them live outside of manc in some of the most affluent areas in the UK - maybe we should buy a block of flats in Beswick and let the ungrateful ywats stay there for match days

Hate to say it but most of them care fook all for the club.....potentially we are England's Real Madrid :-(

But if yer really in 'West London' then Beirut or Khabul would be a better option.

I've lived in West London for 7 years and I lived in Manchester for 18 years, and I know which I prefer for my young family. And it's not Manchester mate. So the whole Kabul / Beirut shit applies more to the Burglary capital of the world to be honest.

See all them burglaries? See all them council hoodies fighting on the estates? See all that car theft? See all those shrieking hen nights stamping their stilletoes into faces in town? Keep 'em mate. I don't see those in London.

You should put sky news on then mate!

Maybe he tried but murdoch news corp are too busy in North london.
In any major city there are going to be areas where it is a bit dodgy, areas where the nightlife is great and very expensive, areas where it is great and realitively cheap, but there is the risk of some twat smacking you for no reason.
manchester is like any other major city in eurmpe when it come to these things, it also has a lot of history and culture, as do barcelona, Lisbon, Madrid, etc etc, but it does not have the weather that Barca or Lisbon can enjoy, but there again, neither of these cities have first class cricket grounds on their doorstep, and even if you areon £150,000 a week, if you finish "work" at lunchtime, and cant go into town for a stroll because some idiot is likely to have a go at you for wearing the wrong colour of shirt in your work, it will limit how you can spend your free time (maybe why so many pro-footballers end up with gambling addictions or drink problems)

The Da Silva twins said they find Manchester boring and go to London whenever they can.

Did the rag media make an issue of this?

Of course not. But there is no agenda.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.express.co.uk/football/view/263495/A-Real-deal-behind-Sergio-Aguero-s-Manchester-City-move-" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.express.co.uk/football/view/ ... City-move-</a>

It is all paranoia.

Pisses me right off all the 'hate Manhester' crap, ffs every player that moans is on over a hundred grand a week and worst of it is they all live in Prestbury and Alderley edge and they think it's bad, stick them in Moss Side or Wythenshawe see them cry then! On the plus side i read an interwiew with Aguero and he said he dosen't like very hot weather, perfect place then!

Wrote about this very subject for the Sabotage Times yesterday. A couple of rags making snidey comments beneath but overall some positive comments.
