Robinho i can understand. Hot spanish speaking country, to a hard hostile footballing environment. I don't think he'd ever have settled.

Balotelli, young and misses home (he did say it was his hometown he missed and not milan)

But there's one detail i really don't get....

If Carlos Tevez dislikes Manchester so much, why then when leaving Manchester United did he CHOOSE to stay in Manchester with Manchester City?
Carlos didn't choose Kia Joobrachian chose

I think Kia Joorabchian even chooses what Carlos has for his tea.

Indeed, Kia is the puupet master general

Robinho I can understand, I can't see many Brazilians like Manchester or even England for that matter completely different culture....

Mario, he's 20 years old and lived in Italy most of his life and is home sick that is understandable if it was Zabaleta saying he misses home I really couldn't see it being blown out of proportion like it has with Mario....

Carlos, it's a strange one with Carlos he had 2 years in Manchester at them lot to decide his opinion on the Town whether to stay or not and chose to stay, the guy said theres nothing to do then when suggested things to do he complains about not understanding the language (even though he's been in England for 5 years now) I don't think Carlos has any problems with Manchester I think he moans for the sake of moaning....

I don't think it's Manchester that's the problem but it's the player's own personal problems, I think Mario could grow accustomed to living away from his friends and family I just think going back home to see them during the off season showed him how much he really missed them...

I can think of many places I would hate having to live.

I can't think of one though if I was being paid £150k a week

They need to all STFU and get on with it. They don't realise how lucky they are. How can you complain about where you live when you earn £150k+ a week and retire to your luxury mansion or penthouse apartment at the end of each day.

Also, if you were going to take a job abroad you'd find out a bit about the city, maybe visit first. I know I would.

All this complaining just makes me realise even more what a bunch of spoilt tarts some of these footballers really are...

You both seem to think that money = happiness.

1/ Balotelli did not say he was "unhappy" just that he feels homesick. Between the ages of 22 and 24 I lived away on cruise ships for 18 months, coming back just one time for a period of 8 weeks. By the end it was really getting me down. It is only natural that he's homesick, but he'll push through it.
He actually said though - and I quote(!) - "Manchester is not to my taste"! He said them
exact words.

-- Sat Aug 06, 2011 12:13 pm --

Vidic and his missus used to whinge about Manchester all the time
I thought their moan was about England, not necessarily Mcr. I remember the words "grey skies", "leaves don't even grow on trees or plants" and "everyone works too hard in England, everyone is miserable and all they do is work". Not exactly slagging Manchester!

2/ Haven't Tevez's circumstances have changed since he signed for City? His lady has taken his kids back to Argentina.
Didn't take him long to find ''company'' though, did it?

To be fair they've got a point. Give me 150K a week and then stick me in Manchester. One year later, offer me Barcelona, Sevilla, Madrid, Rome, Amsterdam, Porto, Lisbon or 20 other cities and watch me fucking fly!

But if yer really in 'West London' then Beirut or Khabul would be a better option.

I like the two developments: Tevez ain't coming back to God's Little Acre when he leaves, and Aguero doesn't like hot weather!

I've lived in West London for 7 years and I lived in Manchester for 18 years, and I know which I prefer for my young family. And it's not Manchester mate. So the whole Kabul / Beirut shit applies more to the Burglary capital of the world to be honest.

See all them burglaries? See all them council hoodies fighting on the estates? See all that car theft? See all those shrieking hen nights stamping their stilletoes into faces in town? Keep 'em mate. I don't see those in London.

There is a theory going around that Tevez isn't exactly bright
After 6 years playing and living in the UK, his sum total of English phrases is "IS OK! IS NO PROBLEM!" which he's trotted out at a couple of man of the match speeches.

So I think you might have a point there you know. :-)

I dont know th elegal implications of this but i know a guy who worked at his house and he had to spend a ridiculous amount of money repairing his decor because carlos had a BBQ INSIDE his house, yes, that was INSIDE his house. hmmmm
