All things AI.

Abit of dancehall haha

Mm... They need to work on this format a touch. It's not far, but it does feel empty in delivery mainly. That's not even listening to music production, it's in the vocal delivery itself. Lacking the energy and rawness of dancehall, which is super hard to recreate, I think.

Not impossible, though. Good effort.

Yep, I'm all for it as it gives people a chance to express themselves or create something different.
I do wonder where this all ends, if it takes over peoples jobs and less of us are working, that means people have no money, so how do they buy these products/services that AI and their puppet masters control? Healthcare improves massively but who’s paying the taxes for it because we aren’t working, watching a video by an expert he likens it to the Industrial Revolution where machines took over menial labour intensive jobs but people then went onto do less manual jobs, machines replaced muscle, however AI replaces the mind, so what do people do then? I do fear for my daughters future and jokingly said a manual job electrician plumber etc maybe the only jobs that will give you a reasonable living but then everyone will be going into those areas.

Well all eventually be living on benefits pretty much

Will go probably 1 of 2 ways. Economies will grow a massive amount and the taxes on these corporations funds UBI and humans find new meaning in life without menial jobs.
Or the economies still grow massive and they kill off the majority of us as we have no purpose to the elite anymore haha.

We will probably spend hours a day in virtual reality environments living our best lives online...

This guy is always worth a listen, talking about this subject:

Agreed. I've expressed similar views to you.

I told my kids to get into Human to Human jobs. My lad went into catering, like his older brother, rather than IT and my daughters have moved into social care, like myself.

Human relation is important and will be for the next 30-50 years before the cyborgs come online...

The top actors will still get work, they have something computers can’t replicate and probably never will. People want to see a performer challenged by a role and also how their career has progressed over time. AI makes it too simple and removes this background context behind a performance.

AI actors look dead behind the eyes and you see repetition in facial expressions and body movements similar to animated characters. AI also struggles to replicate interaction between multiple actors that you get in the best movies. I don’t think anyone even knows what that is so trying to do it mathematically would be impossible. It’s a mix of timing and uniqueness. Take that chandelier scene in Only Fools and Horses, the line “Brace yourself Rodney, brace yourself” set up the punchline perfectly, but it was an ad-lib by David Jason because Nicholas Lyndhurst was about to crack up with laughter.

Just to revisit this. You may have seen it, you may have not.

If you haven't, what did you think of the AI girl 'Tilly Norwood' on The Graham Norton show...?

No jobs will be irreplaceable, neither mental nor physical, and why would anyone want to work if everyone else is existing on a UBI?

The coming years are going to see astonishing changes, and the lack of meaningful discussion over its implementation and governance are just as bewildering.

Really impressive the visuals this guy is able to create with the help of AI. Imagine the films and TV we'll be getting in 10 years.

Yeah mate. Been a concern of mine for many years. The joint robotics and AI revolution is going to change the economy and we need to be prepared for it.
This is as society changing as the Industrial Revolution was

Entry level roles are already vanishing because of what AI tools can do which means less opportunities for young people to begin careers in apprenticeships. Then it will get to work on the higher level jobs, there’s no talk about this at all by governments but it’s coming.

There is the talk of a universal wage potentially where as humans we don’t work and pursue other interests instead. When this does happen I still think we will be waiting on the verdict on the 115 hearing, so plenty of time to spend on Bluemoon.

I can’t get my head around how this universal wage happens though, where does the money come from? If the population isn’t earning there is no tax, no tax for the government to pay a wage, if you think the services offered by AI are going to paid for buy someone who is that someone, only rich people who originally created AI will have money, unless we get everything for free, but there will still be people who will need to work, they’ll feel right mugs is the rest of us are getting free money. Now if AI took over everything then everyone would get everything for free!

I would watch the hell out of this, if it was a TV series!
