All things Jack Grealish

He has had probably the strangest career of any City player I can recall. I was excited when he signed as I thought he would bring goals and assists as kind of an English KdB. As it turned out he played mainly stuck out on the left and contributed very little in terms of stats but was fundamental to our treble success and then just seemed to lose it completely.
Pep's take on this is what I will be very interested in reading if he ever does a book about his time at City.
I was anticipating that he would spend his first months on the wing getting used to the team before moving inside as an 8 and then taking over from Gundo, KdB etc. and becoming a mainstay of the team.
He seems like a nice bloke but so much potential not fulfilled. I would not take the risk of building a team plan that includes him sad as that is.

He was pictured passed out in a bar during g the day as recently as a couple of weeks ago. Not particularly professional. I like
Jack. Seems a kind soul and was very much a big part of the treble. He needs some help tho
Who took the picture & what were that persons intentions? Was anybody with Jack? Did anybody interfere with his drinks or did someone see him home safely? Were the people taking the photograph trying to ridicule Jack in someway? If so why? For financial gain or to put a wedge between him & his employer. Is someone trying to drive Jack's transfer fee down?

We have not been as good without him as we were with him. I would keep him but not sure he would fancy sitting on the Judy all season.

He isn’t a winger, in my opinion, and I thought when he played more centrally (home game v Forest last season for instance) he really shone. I guess one problem could be is that position suits both Jack and Cherki?

It’s incredible the amount of people stick up for grealish despite everything.

I too posted years ago I had heard from a chef who worked at city that grealish was causing the club a lot of problems and that he was consistently staying at cfa as he and his girlfriend where always falling out having drama etc.

Grealish was left out of games due to his drinking. Fulham away being the most obvious (whilst we where in the middle of a title race ffs).

Grealish has probably been the most unprofessional player of this current era yet people will still stick up for him. He is trouble and the reason he was moved on is because of his influence on others.

He may be a nice bloke or loveable to some. But to me he needs to grow up. He js a father ffs. Just last week he was at a strip club pissed up with Pickford.

Doku is miles better on and off the pitch.
Heard from a chef at the club you say?. Young man needs to grow up because he went out after the season finished with his team mates for a drink you say?

Im hanging on till I hear from the club cleaner and dissect Rodri being a young man having a drink with his team mates just last night.

Of course we should bring him back

Not for goals or assists but Ball retention?

Wonder why no other team in the word fancies such exclusive ball control Player ?

If he is such a great footballer that can win you trebles single handedly wonder why top teams aren’t in him for hom?

Why don’t they need ball control ? Are they stupid ?

Probably the only setting fans who think winning useless fouls is a skill- has United fans suggested such things people would have laughed him off

300k for fouls and keeping possession as if we were keeping possession 90% every match

On an average our possession stats were lesser in Grealish era than pre Grealish era
No one said he won trebles on his own, why the need to tell a blatant lie? What do you get out of it? It just makes the rest not worth reading so i didnt.

Grealish isn't good enough ..he proved that repeatedly and his lifestyle is not one we want in the dressing room.

First trying to buy a twat like Fernandez and then the potential for this....if either of these come to fruition then it's a backwards step..
Especially Grealish

I'm sure he is a likeable guy but he does not take responsibility for himself and lacks professionalism

Agreed. He should be playing in the 10 role. Problem is, he's got stiff competition with Cherki and NOR.

I'm not sure what people would expect to hear about Jack other than this. Saying anything else would pretty much torch whatever transfer value he might have left.
