Allardyce leaves job after Telegraph sting

I do find these 'stories' somewhat distasteful. Journalists unearthing corruption, cheating, double dealing is all well and good but the plethora of stories in recent years that have been set up by the media, just smacks of them creating the news and it's entrapment at best.
It's like someone asking me if I'll cheat on my wife with a 23 year old stunner who approaches me in a bar. It's never going to happen so the answer I give is largely irrelevant...
What would be your answer by the way?
This could start a whole new thread!

Said for years the game is corrupt / fixed and here is more evidence. Players, refs, managers they are all at it and more needs to be exposed. Fans are being taken for mugs by everyone in the game.

when these stories come out I like to think powers that be at our club are parking tanks on some people lawns as a warning and somewhere along the line have had an influence . (I know it's nonsense but nice thought)

Wishful thinking I know but it would be nice if Gill was the ultimate target

I am sure I read somewhere we forced there hands on shares buying PKIs or something . I still think we want payback eventually

This after claiming the views at West Hams new stadium are great lol?

Fat Sam has eaten all the toast, and wants more!
Edited.

At least we didn't need any "dodgy" sheikhs to give us more money - we got the real deal!

Disgraceful really. His position really is untenable. On a serious note, if these allegations (and those yet to be revealed) are true, the Serious Fraud office should be looking at the FA, PiGMOL, etc, to uncover the corruption that we all know is inherent in the game.

The Telegraph are saying more news to come out in coming days regarding Managers taking bribes for transfer deals. You can bet your life Harry's briefing his solicitor today.

There is definitely a faint whiff of entrapment about this. I don't like Allardyce, but I'm not convinced that there's enough in today's Telegraph for him to sacked. Maybe there's more damning revelations to come. The worst thing he's guilty of so far is seemingly drinking wine out of a pint glass, the uncouth bastard.

Can't see the Telegraph releasing this unless they have summat big,the whole footballing world is onto it.
We will find out in the coming weeks I suppose.

Managers... transfers... corruption... are we surprised?
Not sure about Harry... but i'll bet a certain shaky scotsman (who's son is a football agent) is a bit worried!

Just listening to TalkShite, they got Barry "honest guv" Silkman on to give his unbiased and fair minded slant on things. Throw in Fat Sams' drinking chum the boiled bollock and it is clear this is the stitch up of the century....

You can bet, given our profile as a club and activity in the transfer market, that we will have been tested as part of this 'investigation'. Would imagine that some of the other big boys will have been as well.[/QUOTE]

You only need to look at his waistline to see how greedy this fucker is. Landed his dream job, earning millions a year and still wants more.

Fucking hell who would have thought that Jabba the Hut would be knee deep in the swill, Dean Saunders thinks its disgusting entrapment of his drinking buddy.

If you watch the whole video, he hasnt done anything sackable from what i can see. He clearly tells them to back off twice and that certain things are out of order. He just explained how to buy a third party player ? and that you can invest in them in countries outside of the premier leauge.

Is anyone even remotely surprised? All the old British managers have always got up to all sorts to scrape more cash out of agents and the like, it's the culture they were raised in and I'd be amazed if it's not rife all the way through the lower leagues. Most of them are also far too stupid to not get caught if people really put there mind towards catching them. as Allardyce has shown in the past

Come on lads, don't know why more of you didn't see this coming, the poor chap has to eat 30 tonnes of chips a day just to maintain his weight, how's he supposed to do that on his meager salary?
