Almost Fell Asleep.

I suppose if I weren't a fan of city i'd find watching our football boring. but since I have feeling and emotion tied into the outcome of the match i'm on the edge of my seat.

when the sheik took city over i think most of us looked forward to better football as much as success
its been 3 years now (i think) since then
maybe £300 million or more spent .
no trophies
boring,dull football
its hard to remain upbeat when we struggle to beat wigan AT HOME !!!!
clinging on for a 1-0 to them wasnt quite what i quite expected after all the above !

if i was tevez, balo, dzeko or any decent player i wouldnt want to play that crap

Im not going to argue with you over what things are more boring than the other, and in hindsight(always 20/20) I definitely should have chosen better words for my original post.

After 24 hours and watching the game again I would say it was more frustrating than boring. There were many times in the first half we had the opportunity to shoot, but instead opted to try and get another pass in or dribble it into the goal. Second half, completely different story, we looked uninterested and like we just wanted the game to end. Now I realize the boys are probably tired and probably did want it to end and to rest up for the very busy schedule coming up. And with teams around us dropping points today, our 3 points are looking even better and im very happy with that. I guess yesterday I was getting worried about spuds breathing down our necks, but today has helped convince me that we should be ok if we stick to Mancini's game plan.

Had no idea I would ruffle so many feathers with the original post haha I was just posting my post game thoughts after a what I thought was a disappointing performance, on a message board.. sorry for my insults as I had been drinking and was acting childish, but hey lets just go beat Kiev. Cheers.
The next couple months are going to be really tense and a lot of us are probably (me included) going to be touchy. We've waited a long time for this.

At the end of the day, United have played shit for years and are sat at the top of the table. The best teams play shit and do well and then when it comes to having to perform they step up. We struggled to beat them but we did beat them, a few years ago we would of lost that game.

As the phrase goes Rome wasn't built in a day, if you expect us to throw 300 million and instantly expect a return of trophies you don't have a clue what football is all about. Real Madrid have been bossing people around spending big for years yet they still haven't even got a stranglehold on La Liga and they haven't even pushed far into the Champions League since the Zidane days.

Why does that make him a kid. I think your simply pathetic immature response on 'FORUM' makes you the kid. The points he made were fine, and largely true. The only positive from yesterday was the win, which IS a positive. Let's get over it and move on, but barring that, it is disappointing. We have been pretty poor for a number of weeks now. You go and check the definition of a forum- you will realise its a hub for debate, a place for people to vent their anger. When you have done that, come back, and if you don't agree with him, disprove his points, don't give a cliched smart arse response.

I won't hold my breath, you are probably busy watching some kids tv.....!!

to be honest if i was watching us and all that happened in the game was hart and kompany were knocking it to each other for the whole 90 minutes id find it exciting because i love city and i love watching them play no matter how
