just back and same experiences as most.
Was in the Londoner on Thur night when a load of them turned up outside offering us out, but the door was barred we stayed in, they stayed out and then cleared off when loads of riot police turned up.
Heard a load had turned up at our hotel early morning, and also stories that 2 different groups were jumped outside the hotel - one lad had a chunk or ear missing?
Anyone know more on that?

However we had a good chat with a few Poles who were smart lads who loved their football.
It was a pleasure to buy them a beer

On the sexy Polish women theme, there's a Polish family at the end of my street. Typical isn't even close to being the word i'm looking for. The woman is fucking beautiful, all except her dress sense. She wears clothes which I can only describe as 80's-esque, but not in a cool/retro way. She wears drain pipe, stone washed jeans, bright white trainers, a white hooded top with a faux leather coat on top. Her hair looks like it has streaks too! Its quite bizarre really. Then you have her husband. Pick anyone out of the Terrormachine picture, and you have Mr Poland at the end of my street! They smoke some of the most potent dope i've ever smelt too. Quality family!

'If you lived in Pigeonho's street
here are the people you could meet.
here are the people who would say cześć, pożegnanie, cześć

pigeonho's street they smoke strong weed
with awful trainers on their feet
down in pigeonho's street!'

Got back last night..Only trouble I saw was one bit outside the ground.
Had a good few beers and swapped scarves etc with some Polish lads who approached us in a bar after the match "Welcome to Poznan- Can we buy you a beer?" Great lads...not a bad one between them.
Most City fans were OK, Some were obviously looking for trouble and some just had a stinking attitude..total embarrassment to their country and their club...If you can't handle your beer- don't drink it.
Was ashamed to be a City fan on some occasions while over there due to people like these...Just total morons.
Some are just plain ignorant and basically thick, unable to comprehend another country and culture different to their own...but you get that from people in general not just City fans unfortunately.
Overall a good trip spoiled occasionally by a minority of neanderthal City fans unable to string a sentence together or to know when they've had enough beer and have some kind of conquering triumphant attitude...
Unfortunately an English problem...coming under the category of
"D!ckheads".

Just had some much needed shut eye after getting back from Poznán at some unholy hour this morning. We were in the Londoner more or less all day and night on Thursday and when we all got booted out of there we went to Beejay's. Apart from a few of them outside the windows acting all Danny Dyer we saw no mither or handbags whatsoever. The Poznán lads we met on the tram and in the bars were brilliant and we ended up swapping scarves with a couple of them and even ended up teaching them some of our songs. A great couple of days all round, apart from the result!

Got back last night from Poznan and tbh was quite dissapointed with the Poland experience, the result probably has had an effect aswell but it was imo a total dive of a place and the majority of the Poles were miserable.

Was in the square for most of the Thursday afternoon and it was mainly the pissed up City fans that were looking for the trouble, any group of Poznan that walked past got provoked and taunted. Most of it was in jest but 1 or 2 would take it a bit further and come across quite aggressive. However did'nt see 1 bit of fighting but heard about a few scuffles and also about a bit of bother outside the Londoner pub on the Wednesday night.

Before the match there were plaenty of City in the square. Flags up, beer flowing and plenty of singing amde for a decent atmosphere however after the game went back to the same area and most City must have not fancyed drinking in the square as was quite dead as far as City are concerned. Poznan were in the square in their hundreds, BeeJays was packed full of Poles all just relaxing and having a good time. The Londoner was only pub I went in the was full of City (approx 90), around the corner there was a huge crowd of Poznan, all drinking and chanting. Not sure if they were friendly or not as didnt fancy risking it and avoided that part of the square.

Went in various side street bars and all were relativley quiet, maybe groups of 3,4 & 5 City fans keeping out of the square and having a drink.

Food was excellent, tryed a few Polish dishes like pierogi & karkowka and sampled various beers and vodka but overall as a football trip I was quite dissapointed. Salzburg was a far better trip.

Was in Beejays on the thursday night after the game, was a really top night, had a dance and a sing song with some of the locals. We walked past a mob of poznan who were all outside covered up banging on the windows to get in at city in the bar next to beejays.

Other than that the only trouble we saw was a few polish lads fighting amongst themselves near our hostel with golf clubs and knives.
