If he can't keep his emotions in check he shouldn't be carrying a lethal weapon or a taser.

That's impossible to predict or assess prior to an incident. It's easy after the event.

The lad overstepped the mark. Most of us would do the same in that situation. I know I probably would, and I wouldn't regret it.
 
Did he even know? He could easily say he was getting up again.

I can’t say I’d have kicked him but I wasn’t there-and his defence will be based on whether subjectively he had an honestly belief at that time -see Rv Palmer

And why didn't he taser the suspect himself when he had the weapon drawn rather than kick him?

Suggests he did know that weapon was already deployed by his colleague.

You and Mr K aren’t that far apart.

The difference is the subjectivity of the necessity of the force used. He’s suggesting it isn’t, whereas you are suggesting that it could have been, having seen the whole incident play out.

The inquiry will ultimately define that.
