I think it's glaringly obvious we need a proven goalscorer and the simple facts are one is and the other is not. However, you can only sign the players that will come and perhaps Eto'o isn't interested.

His fitness is my only concern, a bit overpriced but its not my money.

He has shown his ability to score, when fit he will give us options, that we dont have now.

I think his personality will fit in well at City, hard worker, and never seems to cause any trouble.

Exactly a decent buy, who gives a crap about the price. He's probably had one of the most thorough medicals so if the club is happy with the risk why should we worry. Definitely gives us something we do not have, for a club wanting to challenge the top 4 £15M to £18M is not excessive even for the bench!!
