Am sick of you money bag city fans

Hardy, take a bow, this sums up what I've been trying to say !!

I don't think we should be ashamed that we don't understand why you wouldn't choose to go to Fulham in the cup, when we have gone 33 years without winning a trophy and this has been our best chance in decades.

Tevez must have looked around on Weds and thought 'what the f*ck have I done !'

After the performances this season the lads deserved our support on Wednesday and thousands went missing.

I give my season ticket to a blue who loves to go without asking for any finacial return..

I did the same as i was working. But people that have moved away from Manchester for work or love dont have that choice as its harder to move the tickets around safely and trust someone with your season ticket.

Lets all move on from this and all pull together

For the record, as a club, the game on Wednesday was far, far, far bigger than the Derby

Yup we need to win something, but you will never ever get the same support and passion that goes with the Derby to games like this.
I really do not know what peoples problems are with this, like I said before Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC, Inter, Juventus do not sell out for midweek lower end Cup games like this.
Some top European Clubs do not sell out in Champions League home games, it does not make us any different from any other Club whatsoever.
It's the way football is and the way football fans are, throw in the Worlds current economic climate!
Nobody is going to have a power wank over Fulham home Carling Cup Round 3 @ £15/£25 midweek.

Yeh I would expect a drop in attendance too just for the mere fact you don't have the 35,000 seasoncard holders, I just think the drop is too dramatic.

It was interesting to note that the rags only got 51,000 a 33% drop on their average so I accept its not just us but ours was a 47% drop on our average and yet we're supposed to have more local fans on an average game than Utd.

Good post that.

The irony is that if Coms was full every single game we'd be flooded with posts about 'glory hunters' and how hard it is to get a ticket.

But look at last seasons UEFA Cup run (apart from Hamburg)
The home attendences were shite, but everyone wanted to see the Hamburg game and go to Istanbul. Every Club has this problem, within a few years we will be playing a second string youth team in the early rounds of this competition.
There are plenty of people who can barely afford the season tickets the way things are, nobody should be made to give an excuse for not going.

THIS ^^^^^ endless squabbles over who has been a supporter longer, who went to this game and that game, you can see them now. Oh dear lol

Some people have very genuine reasons for not going, some can't be arsed & are proud of it. We don't compare very well with quite a few other team's fans in that respect anymore. The fans used to be a lot better than the team but now the team's becoming better than the fans. It used to piss me off because I thought we'd get behind it if this ever happened but I'm past caring now after the Uefa cup apathy last year. We need new gloryhunters if we're to fill the ground for these games & I'll welcome them.

Hopefully we'll get some new fans to fill the ground & save us the embarrassment of a half empty stadium in the Champions league whilst Spuds & Everton fill their's in the Uefa cup. Doesn't bother me personally anymore but I'd hate the Sheikh to think he's wasting his time.

I don't give a shit who stays away so long as I get to see good football & trophies at long long last, you can all do what the fuck you want as far as I'm concerned. So long as the Sheikh stays with it, I'm not bothered anymore.
