Ancelotti OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cannot believe some of these posts. Chelsea are an aging side, United are going backwards and Arsenal don't seem to have any bottle. We could actually have won the title this year. Instead all I am told is we are in fourth, fourth is the target, a draw against United is good. Chelsea getting beat does not make up for our negative tactics it just proves how pathetic our approach is. Chelsea got 3 points out of their two home games this week we got 2. They actually increased their lead over us in a bad week. This year is probably the most open title race for years. The team that wins it will be the team that WINS the most games.

Is it only a 15 game season?

Put the pathetic fickleness of our fans into perspective, doesn't it?

Does it fuck. This justifies the fans who questioned Mancini's negative tactics and willingness to have a go at these so called giants of the league. Sunderland can go to the bridge and attack like that and we, with a far far superior side to Sunderland are supposed to be content with sitting back AT HOME to the scum? Infuriating. This result does nothing but show Mancini up.

Hehe isn't it funny how bias makes you have a completely different perspective on things?

See, with my clearly laughable willingness to see the good in Mancini and our current situation, I would have taken this result as evidence of a few different things to you:
- that sometimes, you can just have a bad day
- that even if you're in a very healthy league position with a successful manager, it won't stop your fans booing you.
- that you have to fight for EVERY SINGLE RESULT in this league.

I couldn't be more greatful for Sunderland and Chelsea to show our deluded fans that even the biggest and best team's loose from time to time and struggle against the weaker teams.

It also illustrates what happens to a wealthy team suffering from injuries who press forward, don't give their back line help, and assume that a weaker team can't score on them.

Different game mate, Sunderland are not playing with 10 behind the ball unlike Birmingham yesterday. We had as near as damn it a full strength side out yesterday so injuries are not an excuse.

A. Injuries and missing players are an excuse for us (Balotelli / Adebayor) because it changed our starting line-up and substitutions.
B. It was a different game. Chelsea didn't park the bus, so Sunderland's tactics of hitting on the counter and closing down every attacking Chelsea player in a swarm worked. If Chelsea had parked the bus, then Sunderland wouldn't have scored 3 and Sunderland's game plan certainly doesn't show how we could have broken down Birmingham. If you are saying we are like Chelsea, then their "freedom" and "unafraid to commit players forward" cost them the game.

"biggest and best team's loose from time to time and struggle against the weaker teams."

From time to time?

We play shit negative football for nearly every match. Its only from time to time we actually play some decent stuff. Completely opposite to the like of Chelsea.

Didn't notice the leg splints and bandages on Jo and RSC, apologies.
Santa Cruz hasn't played regulalrly for months

Maybe not but he had 2 fit strikers on the bench yesterday so to say that Tevez was the only option just isn't true.

I will say again, nothing wrong with the side picked yesterday, only the tactical approach to the game. Benefit of the doubt to bobby for starting the way he did but within 10 mins it was clear what Birminghams game plan was and he should have changed things around and had us pressing up the pitch and releasing one if not both the holding mids to help with attacks. A back 5 including hart was more than enough to cope with Birmingham yesterday. Time and time again there was a huge gap between the 4 forward players and the rest of the team and it just means that Tevez has to constantly run back just to pick the ball up. Wasted energy and wasted time. You play the opposition that's in front of you and you have to be adaptable.
