And so it begins...

Negredo still wants out - that's £20m

Garcia or Nastasic, £10m or £15m, respectively.

Rodwell is another £10m

Sinclair - £3m

Richards £6m

Guidetti - £5m

(and that's without even factoring in a sale of Milner (£10m)

It's actually closer to £60m, but it leaves the club with plenty of change to bring in two huge names.

Only a punt mind you but I would suggest two of the top three TH mentioned would be in the squad for the Newcastle game and beyond August 31 and the bottom four with the possible exception of Rodwell will be a t new clubs come the August deadline.

We currently have 27 players in the squad and that number will be reduced to 25 come the start of the season.

Mangala should he come in will mean we have to off load an overseas player however which could mean Nasty is on his way.
Nastasic does not have to be registered this year. so would be pointless to sell this year.

I agree in terms of selling for that criteria alone but he is a player that I am sure MP would consider selling if the right offer came in for him.

I just don't think he fancies him even if he was fully fit.

Would be a terrible decision to sell Nastasic. Wasn't at his best last season but I still believe he can be one of the best defenders in the world.

Martin Blackburn (the sun) is now reporting that Nastasic will be shown the door if the offer is right.

For those asking about Rodwell, he was poised to leave on loan to Everton back in January.

It only fell down at last minute because of Fernando deal getting bogged down.

Everton already had two Premier League players on loan in Barry and Lukaku, under the permitted rules.

Everton's plan was to pay us our £2m fee early to make Barry a permanent deal.

Rodwell would come in on loan with a view to signing in the summer.

Everton are still very much at the table.

Still don't see the point in the selling now on Barkley. If they roll the dice and keep him and he has another great season the price will only go up unless we've fully cornered the market(bit more difficult with him being english)

Hopefully whilst at the table they listen regarding Barkley.
