And so it begins...

It seems pretty clear that there is a definite plan on all aspects of the club and it's not subject to deviation. That includes the pinch of FFP and hitherto unavailable players becoming available.

It may be that more flexibility is required for player releases though as the players we deem surplus are expensive for clubs at their level.

Isco isn't coming, we simply don't have the transfer funds available. Also it gives James Milner more opportunities and I for one am jolly happy about that. Jimmy's energy and all round midfield ability is extremely effective, just ask Bayern Munich. As an added bonus Jimmy is English, is a top bloke, completely professional and has already helped us to 2 premier league titles.

totally agree BBS. jimmy is perfect for the nitty gritty games were its gonna be a battle to get a result. really hope he signs before the season starts and wins more trophies.

Soriano: "We have a new right-back, holding midfielder, we'll have a new central defender and that's it."

So all the talks about Isco are based on fiction and not facts.

No what it is is that if you Dont like what's going on in a thread you get to pick another......whilst you can.

Whilst I can?!

Is that some sort of threat for posting an opinion... on a forum? Well I never..

If you don't want opinions, make it a blog where you and the mods wrote your views and no one else can have an input.

Bell end

Does RW stand for retarded wanker ?
Perhaps a Rag from W9 (Maida Vale)?

Or it could be the that one of the chief execs wouldn't be discussing ongoing negotiations to alert our rivals
And just because a rumoured transfer doesn't happen doesn't mean we weren't trying our hardest to make it happen.
If Ferran Soriano himself posted on here and mentioned every possible transfer we were interested in he would get absolutely slated by some for being a KFA when every single one didn't happen.

A question for Tolmie as I'm pretty sure no ones asked you (in a post at least), do you know what's happening with our transfer budget for the winter window? Is it still capped? Or next season come to that?

Someone asked a similar question, but I missed the answer.....if there was one.

Say we bought a player for, let's say £100 million, that player can play in the premier league (providing we haven't lost over the allowed £105 million) but can't play in any euro competition...right?
When can that player be registered for euro comps?
Is it when you break even?...or is it the following season?

I'm pretty certain that the spending cap is for the season, so we can spend £49m net in the season

As far as the cap next summer, i dont know if anyone has cleared this up or if anyone knows the definitive answer. When i first read the statement on the OS, it sounded to me like a two season cap. But then there are people saying that if we comply this season, and taking into account the fact we should now be making a profit, then the sanctions will be lifted for next summer

If someone can clear this up please do

What the frig has happened to this thread,it was really good with snippets of info from Tolm.
It jumped 30 pages and I thought there must be some news but there seems to be a lot of bluemoon tension and infighting?

Is it Mangala and that's it?
