If the Bee Gees had a drummer,maybe then they could be described as a band,not sure.I'd be more than happy to nominate them.Anyway whats the difference between a group and a band?

I think he's got a point. Their last album was quite dreary but the critics went mad for it.

He doesn't need to mention The Vaccines or Kaiser Chiefs - everyone knows they're both average.

I like you Bob, but for me Elbow can not be classed as overated due to a few songs on an album which i didn't think was that bad. They are not exactly raved about along the same lines as Coldplay or U2.
Not by the public at least. You're right there.
 
Coldplay, The Killers, Muse and for me Mumford & Sons, if I have to put up with every tosser I know playing their 2 albums on repeat everyday for much longer I'll kill someone, all their songs sound like a carbon copy of all the others theyve done.
