Andre Villas-Boas

spuds have a problem with keeping managers, whether they get tired of them or the other way around
and no, not comparable to us before the takeover as they have always had more money than us till then

I don't understand this appointment at all. Harry really fit in well at spurs and was respected by the players. AVB will crash and burn again. Don't see him being there for a whole season.

Harry had his chance and cocked up when he finished third, I suspect Levy had grown tired of his personality and saw no excuse to tolerate it anymore. For the last few months Bale was playing in the middle of midfield, if you don't achive champions league football that sort of conduct cannot go unpunished.

Don't think you can win a league unbeaten and take a European trophy unless you know a bit about football and tactics. Didn't get much of a chance at Chelsea.
He may get a better chance at Spurs where he does not have to do a rebuild against the wishes of some of the dominant dressing room characters.
spot on.

People like to talk bad about leagues outside of the PL, just remember that the Portugese league has produced players like Di Maria, Coentrao, Ramires, Luiz, Hulk, Falcao, Moutinho in the past few years alone.

But winning the league with 27 wins, 3 draws and 0 losses (bear in mind that Porto had been a distant third to Benfica and Braga the previous season)?

And winning the Portuguese Cup?

And the Europa League?

That's a pretty outstanding achievement.
