I always see we are linked with him, to be honest I've not seen him play but heard he is a class act and has a great goal record. But is he physically strong enough to cope as a lone striker in the way were set up, Carroll has proved what a player he is for us this season , he knows the premiership, he knows our style of play, he links with Nolan.. It would be a risk to sign someone else when we can see how important a signing Carroll would be.
