My honest opinion is that female officials currently add a difficult level of uncertainty in terms of addressing conflict. Imagine six players surrounding a female referee, shouting and bawling because they all want a free kick. But would that ever happen? Imagine the furore.

Imagine, for instance, a player calling a female official a 'Stupid woman c*nt'. The fallout would be insane.
