Andy Murray :- Semi Final

Well done Murray, watched the 4th set and thought he blown it. So went for lunch to find out he'd thrashed him in the 5th, the Murray of old would have crumbled but not now.

would be great for him to beat Djokovic, that would be another monkey off his back. Federer was always a very tough opponent for Murray.

He is looking the real deal now, only 2 dropped sets all tournament

he's looking like a true Brit !!

That's my point, entirely. James was born with those attributes.

Murray in the space of four years has put on 15kg of muscle, on a frame that was bordering on skinny.

He can run 400 metres in 50 seconds and also trains four four hours a day when he is not playing.

As for the travel aspect, Murray air miles in comparison to James, again, we're talking long-haul for half the season.

The average tennis players is said to run more than 20 miles a match.

They don't have quarters, time-outs, subs, on any of that other crap. To say James can outjump Murray, I would hope he could, being 6ft fucking 8.

I used enjoy watching basketball in the days of Pippen, Jordan, Iverson etc.

Then when you actually analyse it, there's nothing too special about a guy standing near 7ft who can slam dunk a ball just above his head, in terms of the physical demands.
That is the meaning of physical specimen. The attributes you naturally possess.

LeBron plays pretty much every day as I've said and they do shoot-arounds for hours before the games start.

Murray will be flying what, once every two weeks, at most? LeBron James flies every 2-3 days.

Murray has better endurance as I've said.

Let me put it this way, LeBron can jump 45 inches off the ground from a standing start, his height doesn't even play a part, makes it harder in fact. There are very few average-sized people on the planet that can even jump that high from a running start. His height just makes the feat all the more impressive.

He is much quicker, much stronger, much more athletic than Murray. But then again he's probably more athletic than any other human walking the planet.

He is taller than Peter Crouch and faster than Gareth Bale. Just think about that for a second.

But does he track back?

made hard work of it imo, needs to learn mentally how to put these guys away in 3 sets as his ability says he can do, now he's played 5 sets with the never tiring Novak waiting for him after an extra day's rest, tough ask.
One of the commentators was saying earlier in the tournament that Federer was playing some awesome stuff, maybe, just maybe, Murray has sussed him out. Good win, but Djokovic will be a lot more difficult nut to crack. However, the lad's doing well.

Like Wimbledon he had Federer right where he wanted him towards the end of the 2nd set and let Fed in, then again in the 4th after winning the 3rd he should have just put Fed away.

Murray's not quite there yet.

First match he has dropped a set, beaten a legend and in his 2nd grand slam final in a row...

mind games are the hardest to win and when a player as had the upper hand on you for so long you been the runner up so many times you just have to wait for your turn

age played its part today murray is now a man not a boy Federer looks old at times
and sometimes still world class but its not the Federer we all know
murray can be what ever he wants in tennis world number 1 win all the majors he that good of a player
but its like something is in the back of his head is just waiting to snap you can see it and players will work that out and use it mark my words 1 player will start playing mind games and murray will snap

but lets hope he can win all the majors before something happens
