Mike D thinks Cassell has developed the likes of Messi, Iniesta and Xavi.

Cassell didn't have the likes of Messi, Iniesta, Xavi to work with, what he did with the players he had is nothing short of remarkable. Winning the FA Youth is no mean feat considering the situation we were in at the time.

What Jim did is bring through good honest players the likes of Barton, SWP, Ireland, Micah, Nedum of recent times verfiy that.

Good honest players aren't really good enough though are they? I'm not criticising him because he did a fairly good job but surely it's his responsibility to recruit the players in the first place?

This very harsh but no English Youth Coach, including Jim Cassell isn't quite good enough for what type of player we need to produce at this present time.

This has really made my day I am so glad that this clown has finally been given what we deserved I've not be as happy as this since we got rid of Hughes.

Now that would be a step in the right direction bringing back the king maker and starting to unravel the sh*t that Hughes left behind.

Plenty of Cassell,s boys playing in the premier league

I was being ironic. Cassell nowhere near we're we want to be

Any who you'd recommend for City ?

Who is head of the academy at Southampton? Doing a great job really, probably the best British talent coming through at any club.

That maybe down the the fact of the quantity of quality coaches we have rather than the best British coaches not being good enough.

We have 3500 UEFA Badged coaches in England. Spain have 30,000 and Germany close to 40k

Prehaps I was being a bit hasty in saying there is a lack of coaches, but it is more of the educational side that we are lacking.

Both what we teach the youth players and our coaches. We are technically inferior, tactical inferior to the top footballing nations.
