Angelino

The more i look at this the more convinced I am that we had serious doubts about Mendy in the close season, I suspect we brought Angelino back as an insurance policy knowing we could get him cheap on the Buy back and flip him for a tidy profit if required.

Always liked the lad but was never convinced he was our left back answer.

Me personally,I don't think it looks well on our part,
He was doing well in the Netherlands
Depending what was said to him when we re-signed him,will young players think twice before signing for us in the future

One could look it at thinking City gave a chance to a young lad doing well at a smaller club to join an all conquering squad of champions to compete for a place in a team competing for all the major prizes and unfortunately he wasn’t up to scratch so rather than wasting his time and ours we did the best thing for both parties and moved him on.

To be honest,he didn't get many starts,but
It takes time to adjust just like the mega players when they arrived

I didn’t realise we’d sold him. I thought Leipzig merely have an ‘option’ to buy at the agreed price

This has got to be the up there with the biggest load of drivel i have ever had the misfortune of reading.
 
looks like he played well in his first game for leipzig. they lost but he assisted the only leipzig goal. played lwb
