Angelino

My point was this

I know people say he is not good enough but I am not sure he gets forward well and crosses well that’s what our fullbacks are all about in our system he has maybe had one bad game against United where he struggled the rest of the season he has either been injured or not picked. We need more home grown players (He is home grown) Generally speaking I think there is a lack of quality left backs and even fewer that fit City in terms of age ability able to get forward play our system home grown either not many would sit on the bench behind Mendy either We might need 3 left backs next year even tho Mendy is now fit given his injury record.

I use to rate Zinchenko well before many people but I now think we need another fullback like Mendy Zinchecnko does not get forward like Angelino. That’s how we play after all. Most of the season we have avoided playing Cencelo at left back even tho he can play there we have surely done that for a reason Pep sees Cancelo in training we do not he must think he is lacking something at left back. This transfer is confusing even more so when you consider how we brought him in loaned him out sold him brought him back did not play him etc Its a lot of effort for little return yet

That being said financially cracking deal if they buy him.

Post rewritten for the **** who cannot be bothered reading a badly written post due to being on the I phone and would rather pick on a dyslexic instead of ignoring the post in future perhaps you should do as your mothers said if you do not have anything positive to say do not say anything at all

I think we'll sell him and he'll go on to be one of the best LB's in Europe in 3-4 years time.

He had his flaws when he played for us this season, but he was never given a fair crack of the whip to build some consistency. He often looked very good offensively and defensively he would have improve if allowed the time to nail down a starting role.

Moving away from us (again) might be what he needs to reach his potential, but I think this will be another one of those transfers we will regret down the line when we're inevitably still struggling to find a long term LB.

That's fairly wishful thinking, IMO. He's 23 - if he were to be one of the best LB's we'd be seeing much clearer signs of it by now.

He's a handy player but if we can end up selling him for 25 mil then that's good business.

good offensively but weak defensively in a 4-3-3

Is he a beter option than Mendy. - Id have them about the same both with postives hut huge negatives defenisvely.

He struggled to hold down the place when Mendy was out injured. We just got to be fair to him and cut him loose

I wouldnt disagree BUT Id say the same for Mendy to be honest - just dont think he is any good either.

Haven’t been linked with many others and may explain why the Ait-Nouri links dried up. With no natural left width, we could use him and Cancelo if we want greater flexibility and save Mendy for the 4 at the back. Much better option than Zinchenko.
