Another Bellingham Saga

if you have been found guilty of match fixing how does the governing bodies allow you back in the sport ? crazy
top flight football is bent to the core and match officials are the controlling part. they say why do the match officials don't have to be accounted for after the match with a interview.

its right across the board and even the media are told never sell the officials down the river
like i said about the ian cheeseman working for BBC radio manchester and he outed anthony taylor after the chelsea game when manchester city was robbed and cheated sacked about a hour later ?

I've seen both penalty incidents and the ref made the right decision in both. I hate Bayern but unfortunately the decisions were correct.

After some officiating iv witnessed in the Premier League over the years, I wish there were more players speaking out, instead of being scared into silence.
Think Charlie Austin was the last one iv heard stand up to them

Same here. They looked to be correct calls. Bellingham is young, hopefully he'll learn that there are times to keep your trap shut. And I'm sure that having German police getting involved, and investigating his comments, is not a development he should welcome. He may well end up getting a reputation as a gobby so and so. Which may impact in games that he's involved in. If there's an incident where he goes down in the box, and it's 50/50 whether it's a penalty or not, will there be some referees or VAR officials who may be tempted to think "fuck him"? Which then impacts on his club.

Spot on I'm surprised Dortmund left him hung out to dry in that interview.

I found this very odd at the time - why did Clattenburg use the E3 rule which is normally used for off the field offences rather than drawing the referee's attention to the incident and having it dealt with under Law 12 during the game? I know it was in the dying minutes of the game and perhaps he feared crowd reaction if he made an issue of it there and then but even so it seems a very unusual way of dealing with it. If I remember correctly City's next game for which the ban applied was against Newcastle .....

Apparently he was taking the piss out of City for losing and Gaz Baz told him to fuck off

Bellingham is young you say? You should apply to be Football pundit with that insight ;-)
