Another Bellingham Saga

if you have been found guilty of match fixing how does the governing bodies allow you back in the sport ? crazy
top flight football is bent to the core and match officials are the controlling part. they say why do the match officials don't have to be accounted for after the match with a interview.

its right across the board and even the media are told never sell the officials down the river
like i said about the ian cheeseman working for BBC radio manchester and he outed anthony taylor after the chelsea game when manchester city was robbed and cheated sacked about a hour later ?

Zwayer at that time was a 22-year-old linesman and it was the referee Hoyzer that was making the deals with a betting syndicate. There is not much known about his circumstances he was in then - but he helped to bring down Hoyzer and that syndicate later on.

I just can imagine that as a young linesman it is a difficult time to "go against your boss" - especially if you might not really trust the people that are his superiors or you think they do not believe you... Zwayer fine was to be barred from football for 6 months - but after that was allowed to start again and make his referee career.

A lot of this was kept secret until 10 years after that when the newspaper Zeit was having an article about it - but Zwayer himself never talked about his role in that.

Oh, we can discuss if Zwayer is a good referee and if we like all of his calls - but rolling up a story from 17 years ago that we (and especially he) do not know anything about?

Bellingham is a young lad - but even with that he has to be held responsible for things that he said. There is things that is understandable in the heat after matches - but the choice of words is important, too.

------------------------------

At the end both calls probably were right. In the Hernandez foul on Reus Haaland probably was offside - and the handball for Hummels was justified enough. But you can always question the media especially Sky here who tried to cook the controversies, too.

does not matter how young or what role he had in the match fixing he was part of the whole thing
so if a young man is part of a pedofile ring you think he would get a job in schools because he help take down others

its only football and the governing bodies would do something like that and why ? its because its right at the top and the governing bodies are the real cheats and the match officials are told to cheat in games. they was all under orders from the top table and they took the rap and the governing bodies will continue to cheat

You're taking a really stupid position here because you've been told Zwayer was involved in match fixing.

It would be far more accurate to say that he was involved in uncovering match fixing.

He was given €300 by a referee. Then he raised his concerns about this to other referees and he along with 3 others went to the DFB and reported him for match fixing. His evidence and the €300 bribe were used in turning the bent referee, Hoyzer, against the betting syndicate and other corrupt referees leading to their arrest.

He took the money because he didn't know what to do in that moment, but his performance was looked at and he had a fair game, he didn't follow any orders.

After the dust settled, they gave him a short ban for taking the money and going to other referees for advice first, as the correct procedure is to just reject everything and report it immediately.

Think ‘The Streets’ one was Scott Parker…
Found it. It was actually an AFTV rant uploaded on Vine that was originally cut to 'Fit but You Know It'. I suggested to use 'Parklife' instead and tag it at the end so he reuploaded and it went viral.
