Actually, in chambers it is Sherry, usually 'La Ina' and port, Taylors a favourite, not much left of the 1963.
It was Port until recently when left-leaning libations were found to be lurid and lacklustre.

Do you suppose the quid pro quo might alter that situation? Do EU visitors to the UK have pets and mobile phones?

Trump makes no difference to the established system
Missed this earlier.

Unfortunately, the Trump admin — and sycophantic, power-drunk Republican Senate — very much does make a differende to the current system.

Depending on the outcome of the impeachment, a substantial difference, as he could be given a “blank check” mandate to do whatever he wants, with little to no oversight. And that’s not even factoring in ways he could do that (and has done that), anyway, regardless of the impeachment proceedings.

It’s a ****ed system in a lot of ways due to him being voted in.

Depends on the legal framework that is negotiated for the future relationship, how extensive it is, how much we sign up for etc. The less we commit the less we get. Some aspects are already off the table. The UK police will not have access to the EU data base and the European Arrest Warrant will not apply. Audio Visual services will not be included in any future deal which has lead to a reduction in companies here with channels aimed at EU market.

In short it is down to us and whether we sign up for a myriad of EU schemes and programs or not. The more we sign up for the less things will change.

It'll be like Brexit never happened before too long

Pets - yes could be an issue for EU visitors - roaming charges no. Their providers know where they are and can simply not charge them if they come to the UK.

Looks like Norton Motorcycles are going into administration.
That was the company the Brexit boys were using as an example early last year of how Brexit could be good for manufacturing if only the bosses in that sector would look at markets outside the EU like Norton were.

Huh?

"Norton fell into financial difficulties in 2008 but was rescued by entrepreneur and property developer Stuart Garner who revived the business.
Mr Garner said last May that the firm was performing strongly and planned to open a new factory.
However, this January he told local newspaper Birmingham Live that Norton owed tax authorities £300,000 and could be liquidated if it was not given more time to pay."

We have the potential to be bigger, better and stronger, to go across a wider range of export territories than we would ever have looked at if we had stayed Remain.
