I thought we’d already said that we weren’t going to impose customs checks on most imports from the EU deal or no deal, leaving us open to other countries exporting whatever they want here without restrictions due to WTO MFN rules if we don’t get a deal.Also worth noting this is the easy bit, its the goods coming in where the serious work is and we have already pushed that back 6 months. If we get this wrong it wrecks our exporters but at least we wont starve.
Not really. If Brexit develops from the current badly managed fiasco into something worse, should people stop complaining because of the result of the 2016 referendum? If anything the case to re-evaluate our decision will be stronger.
