Don't need to go back far - check out Dids and Dids buddying up earlier.

I could point out very many - would it be helpful to show that it is far more frequent to see 'buddying up' comes from the Remainer side?

I wasn’t questioning his abilities as an editor. Neil is poor on economics. As a political journalist he is also extremely poor on European politics.

Not really but he impresses you. It’s his MO to feign hurt when he’s pulled up for trivialising what should be serious and for what it’s worth has shown he’s capable of better on another thread I’ve been following with interest but not contributing to today.

Never mind that though, while you’re here can you make some sense of the figures Emily Thornberry was quoting to Liz Trussed that seem to suggest our trade deal with Japan actually promises us less than the one we would have had with the EU?

I was able to massively advance her career - (in old currency) she was a Grade 5 a few years later. still contacts me now for the occasional chat

I will be sure to point out your comment to her though - she might surprise me by revealing some well hidden feelings

What? - do you need me to tell you that Truss is an over-promoted idiot?

Do you need me to say that there is no way that the deal she has done with Japan is absolutely no better than the one we had via the EU?

I thought you understood these things far better

(BTW Thornberry is also a bag of wind - IMO)
