Good, then he shouldn’t come asking for British help in his new middle east war.
Brexit the gift that keeps giving.

We sell weapons to the Saudis so they can bomb Yemen.

We train the Saudis in how to fly the planes that launch the missiles that kill the Yeminis

We have boots on the ground in Syria.

We start enough wars of our own .

Of course. Should be interesting watching them explain how giving up sovereignty, control of borders, laws and economics will benefit us. Not forgetting, of course, that new members are obliged to give up their currency (and therefore any control of the economy) and join the success that is the €
And contribute towards paying off the debt. That'll be a big selling point.

Flourishing Rejoining party here - I might join..

Just looked on their forum and it has this disclaimer on the banner:
We don't have much to reply to yet, so it may feel a little empty in here, but the only way we can fix that is if people like you help us by posting a thread or two and replying to a few others. We've got big plans for the forum, and it will help us to grow the FB group as well as our presence across other social media.
They're using social media to spread their 'positive message'?

Two weeks ago we were talking about sending gunboats to the 200 mile limit. Having failed to keep EU boats out as a negotiating tactic this time, that's supposedly a good thing because we can use the same tactic again. You've never understood this issue

I'd like the electorate to at least know enough to determine when they are being lied to. That would be a nice start and hardly obsessive.
Well - the electorate saw straight through lies of Osborne and others - so perhaps not as bad as you think

Yes, I can't see us rejoining, but in the long term, with a different government I could see EFTA/EEA membership, with maybe some stopping off points between that and where we are starting out from tomorrow. Maybe we'll level up with N.Ireland as a first step at some point.

They might not want a new member who wont sign up to the ''closer political integration'' that we signed up to in The Treaty of Rome'' and then spent close on 50 years trying not to get involved in closer political integration.

Plus we've hardly behaved like a partner that can be trusted have we?

There is that.
