Erm, when have I said anything like what you've suggested?

I'm protesting nothing. Have another vote or don't. I'm pointing out the nightmare that Thornberry had when Fiona Bruce exposed the illogical position she had about having the public support her in renegotiating a deal which she would then not publicly stand by.

In other words, telling the truth is wrong.

Any deal we get, will be worse than staying in. But a small majority of you voted to do this shit so we have to go through it.

People refuse to admit that the EU are not actually a bunch of clueless cowards, so we have been fucking about for years. The majority in Parliament, if offered a choice onoy of no deal or a shit deal, would vote for a shit deal.

None of them would really want it.

I think there is an obvious reason why Boris will get his October 15th election on Monday. Having gained the Royal assent for their bill surely the 21 Tory rebels will allow the country to judge their Brexit position in an GE/2nd Referendum and back the motion? Nowhere on the media is this prospect being raised.
Even with the 21 rebels he doesn't have a majority.

No, pretending to care about leave voters opinions in an effort to get their votes in a GE is... disingenuous.

Thornberry hasn't been revealing her "true" position for months. Last night we finally got some clarity. And it was dumb as fuck.

Are Overgaard Nielsen and Ajay Jagota Nigel Farage? Do they share his exact opinions on everything, or just that we should leave the EU? Is the BP filled with Farage clones or are there some people who held similar views like EFTA brexit? Is the BP the Farage Party?
When you vote Labour do you vote for Corbyn, or your candidate?

I was even explaining the dichotomy of wanting to place support for a candidate like Nielsen, with the fact Farage was leader of the party and how that swayed me to vote Green? I also explain that these elections mean nothing to me, so a vote for Green or BP could be the same as voting for nobody, if we eventually ended up leaving the EU.

But again, YOU read it as...
No. I read it as it was written. You're trying to attribute a totally unfeasible explanation to a very clear intention to vote for two named candidates. You're quite funny when you invent this stuff.

Overgaard Nielsen and Ajay Jagota are not Nigel Farage and I'm not aware that anyone said they were. It would have been impossible to vote for Farage directly as he was standing in a different constituency. As The Brexit Party is not a political party but is a limited company with a single person in control, it's unrealistic to suggest that his candidates don't reflect his views.

You interpreted it in the way you wanted because you refuse to listen.

Even with me clarifying to you precisely what I meant you still go "nope... I believe it was said this way". There's a word for people who do that...

Haha.
You clarified precisely. Good one.

"I’m placing my vote in the hope that the Danish NHS Dentist and trade unionist Overgaard Nielsen gets the second seat and Ajay Jagota gets the third"
By voting green???

As much as this is true, if the parties stand down their candidates to help other parties, a GE becomes a farce. I find myself in the unusual position of having voted leave but would prefer to vote Lib Dem (probably) based on the fact that I will not be able to vote for Corbyn nor Johnson. Much worse I will probably get a choice of Corbyn or Farage. It will become just a re-run of the referendum as voters are forced to choose one or the other or neither. I'd rather not give this Labour party the chance to run the country based simply on the country's wish for our trading relationship with the EU. It's Johnson that's being trapped, not Corbyn.

I've been suggesting a GE should be the way forward but am beginning to prefer a referendum instead, and at this stage it should be No Deal (or any better negotiated deal) vs Revoke (and run that at the same time as a GE where parties stand candidates as per normal, possibly).
I could go with that. People select no deal or revoke in a referendum and then the GE could be a brexit free zone. Not sure Johnson would like it though as it sort of takes away his trump card

I think that’s what they call “plum” when in cricket you go up for an LBW shout.

Telling you that you were voting for a deal, which would give you all the benefits of the EU, without any of the crap & then afterwards telling you that you actually voted to leave without any deal & the country will suffer, but it's what you actually voted for, is the fucking problem. The rest is irrelevant.

It was never going to be any different.

Again, you've completely misread the post. I was explaining what my options were and how I was deliberating making the choice I was going to, not a confirmation.

But then that wouldn't work for you as an explanation would it.

I was asked a question and I gave an answer. The referendum wasn't binding. THIS is all down to the antics of the Tories, who I didn't vote for.
