I'm between Norway and Switzerland, but would be happy to accept free movement as a compromise.

The major issue with your concession is remainers will see that as "well why not just stay in the EU".

This is why this problem will never ever get solved.

I think many leavers are prepared to compromise but again getting that past the side that won't compromise is a different matter.

How many of the 17 million leave voters do you think will join you & how many left angry ?

Some of them thought 'Pakistanis' would be 'sent home'.

Why don't we have an election and ask them?

As it stands the options for leavers in all scenarios but no deal is May's deal or remain.

Why can't we leave no deal on the table in an election and let the people decide?

I think they will succeed in stopping 'no deal' then have an election, unless the Government decides to break the law again, of course, which they may well do.
I believe he will do anything to 'win' an exit from the EU. I cant for the life of me understand why they all seem hell bent on an election when it quite probably will return a hung parliament.

Because our concessions involve:

not contributing to the EU budget (since the EU project is France and Germany's "baby", not ours)
legislatory autonomy
freedom to conduct trade agreements outside of the EU

We just want trade, not the politicisation of Europe.

If the remainers attitude is "why not just stay in the EU", how about "well why not back a soft brexit over remaining"?

I remember right after the referendum remainers were saying let's have a soft-Brexit because you didn't know what you was voting for.

It really is not going to go away unless people do compromise.

We don’t have to wait to know that labour will vote against it.

It could say anything at all, be the best deal in the world and they will vote against it.
They've already admitted they'd vote against it, even if they were the ones who negotiated it.

Spot on. Sadly extremist positions have dominated proceedings, on both sides of the debate, for the last 3 years. and this is where we are.

The referendum was the first recorded case of self-inflicted haemorrhoids. Except it was non-voluntary for two thirds of the electorate. The far right seized an opportunity to finish the thatcher ein volke pogrom and spear-headed by the far-right press apparatchiks squeezed the septic pile into the public domain using racism as a battering ram, ludicrous rhetoric on billboards and lurid lies as headlines in their gutter press. Brexits cannot help but lie constantly. Half the population will riot if we dont leave....they have never had the support of half the population. Ever. Lets see Bring it on, big show of strength , most of them are too embarassed to admit supporting the plot, except on forums and btl"s.

I’m willing to have a bet with you that Labour don’t vote against one once the date of Oct 31st is gone.

Hopefully we have left and the government says we are staying the full 5 years now thanks lol.

Not all of them, some voted for Mays deal. There’s still enough to get him over the line, it depends if he can get both them and the ERG on board, given only some of them eventually backed it too.

Deary fucking me Nev you are shocking.

It's fucking true.

There are absolutely loads of reported incidents of various non Europeans being told: "That's you fucked" & "Go back home" etc.

The Brexit Party rep on BBC yesterday said that immigration etc is the main point. They are all going to accept EU free movement, so you can feel better about having a Brexit deal ?

Who the fuck are these people who were going to kick off if Brexit is cancelled ? Angry geriatrics ? 'Self made', self centred small businessmen & women who want to deal elsewhere than the EU & so fuck everyone else ?

Or the people who cheer Boris Johnson & Farage when they shout out 'traitor' or threaten to don camoflage & storm Parliament ?

You are going to give them a 'Norway' deal ? Seriously ?

And you all pretend to be on the same side.
