The Conservatives have continued to press forward with leaving as a result of the referendum. It had no legal basis to be implemented... except the majaority of Parliament voted to invoke A50, and again voted to scrap revoking A50, so Parliament, whether they like it or not, are committed.
The problem with holding a GE is that it's a waste of time and would solve nothing, except the personnel now in charge of delivering brexit that P'ment has ratified. We can only sort out our own P'ment after we sort out the political union with 27 other European nations. Get thaty resolved and then we, the public, can vote in which party will be charged with moving forward. Ignoring it means we have the same issues over and over again, with the Brexit Party muddying the waters and halting us from progressing onwards, because in light of refusing to deliver brexit, they WILL keep the issue relevant.
