I have listened to what Corbyn has had to say, I see people like Dianne Abbott being in the higher echelons of the Labour party and that is enough ensure I would not currently touch Labour with a shitty stick. I see a party would further cut our armed forces and quite possibly get rid of our nuclear deterrent. The labour party needs to shift back toward the centre and it may well get my vote...a return to new Labour if you like.

Make no mistake Corbyn would love to leave the EU without a deal so that he could run the country un checked. He is a dangerous individual who would do more damage to this country than ever Farage could if either were to get the chance. All the negative things said about Boris are pretty much warranted but to suggest he is far right is ridiculous and ironic given that Corbyn and much of the left leaning support are far more extreme than Boris Johnson.
So you haven't read the 2017 Labour Party manifesto.
Thanks for confirming.
I'll revisit my opinion when the next manifesto is published.

Much ado over nothing. It only affects people who don't live here and who are registered for healthcare somewhere else. They should just buy travel insurance like everyone else does.

Never understood why U.K. citizens who live and work abroad always get flipped off. If they return we even make them declare that they have cut all ties with their previous country of residence before allowing them to claim benefits. It’s almost as if we are paranoid that we are being taken for a ride or something. This ‘hostile environment’ we seem wedded to not only applies to immigrants but U.K. citizens. It’s not healthy.

Sorry to but in but no one is asking for an essay just a couple of examples on how a Farage led government would be better than Corbyn or Johnson - I cant think of one

For the record, I’d say a Labour/Lib Dem coalition might be the best bet for the next couple of years

Farage would do a lot worse than the rest. See what is currently happening to Johnson because he has no idea/care for Parliament and lies like other people breathe would be 10x worse under Farage - he’s a chancer who the TV/radio keep taking seriously. He should not be taken seriously

The boots would be shinier.

Well if he is aiming to do this he has a funny way of showing it. Perhaps we should determine motive from a politicians actions and not from our own prejudices.

I agree, it's all very silly.

If you need an appendectomy whilst in Germany, it's not like you'll think great I can have another one when I get back to the UK! Or have twice as many pills, or whatever.

We should treat people over here and quid pro quo, they treat others over there. Don't know why we're so paranoid about it.

A laughable view to take - and i think Corbyn is a ****. Farage is a weasels **** without a shred of morality.

Come off it bob, you know as well as I do Corbyn would love a free hand running this country. He is not stupid enough to come out and shout it from the roof tops given most of his party are remainers. He knows he is not going to get it but obviously still wants to be PM and wont readily shoot himself in the foot.

As for his actions the company he keeps and the causes he champions are quite enough to tell me all I need to know about Corbyn.

Has it not crossed your mind that the most likely scenario leading to Corbyn as PM would be a coalition government where the other members of the coalition would be in a position to ensure that he would be unable to deliver his more extreme policies. The reality, although I really don't like Corbyn, is that the Labour manifesto at the last election did not have anything like the Marxist agenda that you imply it did. Have you read it?
Haven’t Labour said they would rule as a minority government rather than as a coalition? It might make sense. There is zero chance of the Lib Dem’s entering into a formal coalition in the next 20 years at least. But, assuming that the SNP and Lib Dem’s do very well at the next election, they’re unlikely to want another election any time soon. As long as labour don’t block indyref2 the snp will be happy. And if the Lib Dem’s get a 2nd brexit referendum they wouldn’t rock the boat until that’s sorted.

The question then is just how hard will Labour pursue a radical agenda? Would Corbyn adopt a pragmatic approach or would he stick to his guns and dare the Lib Dem’s and SNP to block him? My guess is that he would refuse to compromise on the basis that Swinson and sturgeon need him as much as he needs them. I also think he’d rather go down in a blaze of glory than compromise. At the very least McDonnell will get his first radical budget.

I don’t think Labour could cut the armed forces any more that the stories have done. Who remembers the replacement for Nimrod being chopped up for scrap before it made it off the assembly line? We would probably need them in the gulf now Iran is deciding to be mischievous with our oil tankers. Selling off Harrier jump jets to America then paying for new aircraft carriers with no planes to fly off them.

Workers rights, good old George Osbourne extending when you have rights as an employee to two years service so it makes it easier for an employer to bin people off without a reason. Could you see a heavily unionised leftist Labour Party bringing in ideas like that? Zero hour contracts helping the employment figures look better than what they really are.

I totally agree we need a centre left Labour Party to give the Tories a good kicking, non of the parties seem to want to plant themselves in the middle now we have two angry extreme political views clashing and some really deplorable unelectable people on both sides. Hung parliaments were a rarity up until 2010 now we are forever in a situation where nothing gets done as every fucker else will vote against it in Parliament.

You might well be right but the point stands that either as a minority government or in a coalition he probably won’t be able to get anything too radical through.
Thankfully.

Ha ha ha - Labour - or anyone - further cutting the armed forces? They will have to find what the Tories have left them first - rumour has it our current entire infantry strength is in a 4 man tent on deployment and the RAF's plane will be back in the air just as soon as the MoD release funds to buy a new elastic band.

Agree with you about the Harrier and Nimrod affairs, disgraceful.

Did you know not only did we flog the Harriers to the Yanks but had spent a fortune upgrading them and RAF Cottesmore where they were based.

However I have no doubt Corbyn would get rid of the F35s, at least one of the carriers and our entire nuclear capability just for starters.
