I must confess to feeling rather smug about the whole thing. Back in 2015/16 I was very undecided about the whole affair (I'll dig out the posts at some point). Then by the time the referendum came I was very much decided on Remain, and that belief only hardened as the months and years went by. I was one of the most passionate Remainers on here, as you will know.
But now having had my "road to damascus" moment and switched sides again, I feel strangely liberated and I can genuinely see the argument from both sides. I still think overall, Brexit is really bad idea, but I am fully reconciled to it. Yes, I will be worse off, but I am no longer stressed by it. It is what it is and we just have to make the most of it. There will be problems for sure, but yes, there will actually be some upsides. I'll get to try chlorinated chicken. Yum yum :-) I can't think of many others. Cheap jeans perhaps. I'll look for positives wherever I can find them.
