So what is your actual point? You are calling for the UDA to be invited to parliament, that absolutley should not happen....in the same way that the IRA must absilutely not be invited to parliament.

Corbyn was no peace seeker? - how on earth is that a true statement....you are literally just saying that cos you dont like him.

Well you are now a terrorist appeaser allowing your government to invite murderers out for lunch
My obvious point is that it was Corbyn who invited IRA members to parliament, you appear to have no problem
with this, or his minutes silences for the same murderers, never any support for security forces, always support
for the IRA. So if this man of peace was so interested in securing it why not invite another crew of murdering scum
like the UDA for tea and sandwiches, just for balance?
He, like his oppo only wanted peace on terms dictated by one side, plus the fact he was not appointed by government to do
anything of the sort, this revisionist bullshit about some irrelevant lefty, is laughable.

The irrelevant lefty you keep going on about.

I was going to say move on, but am worried the Labour Party won't either.

What part of "in the same way that the IRA must absolutely not be invited to parliament" suggest i have no problem with it....again, youre just making shit up.

Both sides, all aspects of the community were brought together to produce the GFA....not just the 'RA. Not only were they invited to talk, they let them all out of jail. BOTH SIDES.

Whats laughable is you dont know what you're talking about. This isnt revisionist bullshit.

I assume then that you're happy for the SoS for NI to invite the UDA (and UVF and RHC) for tea and sandwiches...because thats what he did over Xmas. Or are you not happy for your government to have tea and biccies with terrorists? Im really not sure of your stance on this.

Bearing in mind these terrorists he met are threatening YOUR country...to attack internal borders...and disrupt trade.

We will be punished , simple as that. A shot across the bows to stop any other country from leaving. We are about to enter a very dark period in British history which will begin with an immediate call for independence by Scotland and followed by reunification of Ireland. Possibly the deepest longest recession ever experienced and further cuts due to austerity.
It’s just the January blues. Relax.

Johnson setting out our negotiating position:

No alignment
No ECJ oversight
UK to control immigration
UK to control fishing within territorial waters
Canada style free trade agreement

I've had enough of Remainers telling us what the EU will or won't accept. Let's negotiate with firm objectives and if at the end there is enough for both parties to accept there will be a deal. If it doesn't suit one or both parties then WTO terms it is.

Give over ffs.

Point 4. Apparently we sold off our territorial waters to various european nations in the 80s (a colleague at work explained this, he knows one of the main guys who runs uk fisheries). The fishing communities were given big lump sums of cash in return (they were given the option) so no, we won't be controlling our 'territorial waters' as, like dicks, we sold them. The tories are good at selling things. And as for controlling immigration, johnson's government won't even tell hmrc who is going to be responsible for that, so at the moment, there is exactly nothing being put in place to do that. Johnson doesn't give a fuck about details and we're all going to pay the price for this. Brexit could have been made to work, we have a complete set of clown shoes in charge.

We could renationalise the waters in the same way that railways etc can be nationalised, compulsory purchase orders and job done. Things can be ironed out it's going to take time but we will more than likely have a Brexit on the harder side, so we have to ensure we are ready for that.

Let's see how 'impossible' it really is. She wont be deciding anything - it will be Merkel & Macron calling the shots on the EU side.

why do you think WTO is such a good idea? Many foreign investor companies like car makers have said we go down that line and they are off and people who make a living predicting what a good idea it would be say it would a disaster - the threat of it has put the £ back to sq 1 too.

Thing is if we nationalise railways or utilities ( futile as most are govt owned - just not our govt ) its stuff that exists on this island. How would you nationalise territorial waters? They are outwith the country - we have half a dozen inshore vessels at best so anyone could - and probably will - just sail in and take what they want. What we gonna do? Report them to the EU?

We have to protect the waters if that means building a fleet to patrol the waters then that's what we do.

How long would you anticipate that would take? Do we have the capacity here or would building the new fleet be another Brexit "dividend" we send abroad? And finally who pay's? Johnson has already denuded the money tree - where does the money come from?

A Tory government won’t nationalise anything so the pledge to control fishing is nothing but a sound bite like everything else.

I don't know bud but the hard facts are that the waters will need protecting, not only protecting but properly policing with punishments for violation of our sovereign waters. Just like every other independent country does now.

They already sold the monitoring of the British fishing fleet to a French company. I bet they will be shite hot at reporting any UK fishing vessel that strays 1mm into EU territorial waters.
