Hey - I was just making a point about how a number of Remainers have gotten themselves into some 'cult-like' obsession and cannot now develop their thinking as they have too much invested and cannot stand the 'loss of face'
If you cannot - or choose not to - see that, it is entirely on you. I am entirely indifferent to your view.
I occasionally post the reminder about:
"We will not see movement from the EU unless and until they are faced with the prospect of a viable walk-away option – and the political will to use it”
I do this to expose the inconsistency/lack of understanding of Remainers on here about negotiations.
With that threat off the table the EU were able to bring about May's disgustingly biased WA - and of course the sycophants were falling over themselves at Westminster to ensure that threat could never be prepared for or become viable.
But as soon as there was a small chance of it being considered we saw movement from the EU. Nowadays, with a thumping majority and some seeming political will - we see reports continuously about levels of compromise from both sides - why is that? The EU never felt the need under May's stewardship.
It is, IMO, an example where some of the utterly blinkered Remainers simply don't have the character to admit that they may have been wrong - they appear to have fragile egos and have too much invested - apparently their self-esteem cannot take the blow of accepting that they were wrong.
I don't mean all of you guys - just the cult members
