Wrong, he didn't turn up. He listened to what Allardyce had to say first but never bothered turning up for his trial. Don't blame him to be fair.

The only thing that lets the conspiracy theory down is that they said he looked 'big, about 6'3', so I may putting 2 & 2 together etc....
Anyway, long time lurker, first time poster. Apologies if this is garbage but the source is pretty good and has been very accurate on descriptions on a lot of stuff RE: transfers, even tho they know nothing about football; but just like to keep me in the loop.
Hopefully my subsequent messages will be keeping more in line with the usual drivel spouted on here ;)

Watchin that U tube montage I am reminded of one of our former greats, Kinkladze, especially the way he goes past players as of they werent there, but why would barcelona let him go? Then again they let Fabregas go. Nothing ventured nothing gained and if he's a dud, big deal, if he is the new Messi [or better still Kinky]then bloody hell!!

Blackburn did not take him on because he kept playing the ball on the ground and could not kick it high enough.

As far as I know he's had a few injuries and bought himself out of his contract there so he could be a free agent, like I said that's what I heard it may not be 100% true
