Anthony Taylor (of Altrincham)

Hell BlueMoon has suddenly become an Anthony Rag Taylor love in. WE saw Wigan away which followed Chelsea at home. The simple fact is we did not give him chance to be the usual bent ref that he is, that is how good we were. He did not give the Sane penalty in the second half and he was not going to give this one.
Thank you Blue Mist..needed that reminder about what we are dealing with here.like i say he reffed utd v burnley at turf moor for some unexplainable reasonwhile we were at wembley for the arsenal semi...utd desperately trying to get 4th place...and sir anthony taylor was silently appointed as the ref for this game.there was no fanfare like this weekends match; he just got on with his job, dont think it was even a tv live game cant remember....but..utd won.
I just cant get my head around the simple fact that a utd fan, from a utd family, from Manchester ....is reffing manchester utd utd games.Just because City are brilliant, with highly gifted and motivated professionals ..doesnt mean that we as fans should just accept whats going on.Fans of other clubs must surely be affected by these questionable decisions.its not just about City. Its about Football. We want a fair game!

I can imagine his match report. Due to pep, bluemoon and the media outlets I felt obligated to let things go today I normally wouldn’t. Everybody knows I sleep in my rag pyjamas and have a photo of Gordon mc’queen on my wall. It was very intimidating today even the early leavers stayed till the end. I thought it was only right I didn’t give the penalty for sane as it was Remembrance Day. Ok got to fuck off now meeting Daniel sturrage in bet Fred’s at 12
Talking of Remembrance day...in my book...we scored in the 11th min...looked at the sky clock,it was just over 11 mins...What a significant moment in the history of football......of course ,all the media outlets report it as being 12 mins...round it up to the nearest....but at the point that Smalling wrestled sergio to the ground..(carthorse rag centre-back struggling to deal with sublime City attack) it was 11mins definitely. History being made at the etihad ; )

Actually, whatever the issues with Taylor, allowing an advantage for silva's goal was extremely good refereeing - would have been very easy to blow up for the penalty there. OK, there have been issues previously, but that specific sequence he does deserve credit for.

Bollocks.what about taylor completely ignoring smallings forearm smash on Sane? Was that also,in your opinion "extremely good refereeing" im genuinely interested here because you cherry pick one incident to show him in a good light and dont seek to balance the issue by ignoring another.
If he had stopped play in the 11th min and booked Smalling, utds best central defender,lol,..and done his job properly with the 2nd incident with Sane
Chris "city will crack " aka smallthing would have been sent off..thereby further damaging utd already car crash of a premier league season...thats if sir anthony could play his cards right,as he seems to get a bit confused which card he is playing, when reffing teams from Manchester!
Get your head out your arse and call this man out for what he is.A Cheat.just like herrea.just like fergiescum,s son, just like mickey thomas, just like ryan giggs. The legendary man utd.

So you decided to totally ignore that I specifically talked about just that sequence?

Ok.

Some posters on here have said that when Aguero was fouled Raggy Taylor put the whistle to his lips and was going to blow for a penalty but he decidied to allow the advantage and play on. I have just watched it again. At no time does he put anything near his mouth until AFTER the ball has hit the net. He was NOT going to give the penalty. Fortunately we have professional players who do not stop to appeal, we play on. We did and we stopped Raggy Taylor from robbing us.
