A few rags on Twitter claiming they were attacked and hit with bricks outside Mary D's.
One guy claimed to have had 16 stitches in his after getting a brick on his head outside Mary D's after.
Strangely, though, the time he posted that would have given him about 15 minutes to get through the traffic and to the MRI, to be assessed by triage and then his wound dealt with and closed.
Wow, public transport and the NHS really has improved under the coalition, hasn't it? Surely not rag bullshitting

Straight after the game there was a Utd fan bouncing about between cars shouting his mouth off at anyone that would listen between the Merc garage and the Mitchell Arms. He needed locking up for his own safety.

I then walked to the Northern Qtr, had a pint by which time I imagine Utd had also made their way to town. You could hear and see loads of Police heading towards Piccadilly at that time. Not sure what was happening though.

I'm sorry but I'm blue through and through and i totally disagree with this. How can we condone this behaviour - if they were attacking us we complain and whine on about attacking women, elderley & children well I saw our own fans doing that yesterday too - it's an absolute disgrace - it's a game FFS

Lots police, riot vans, dogs in Picadilly. Seemed like Just a precaution though, I did see a couple of arrests however. There were no colours on show on the ones arrested either.
