Me and my 3 mates (all blue) walked out of mary d's pre match 10 minutes before kick off, just outside the ground opposite where the away fans go in, there was about 15 rags (all wearing black) all shouting and singing on the main road. We walked past them all of us wearing colours and one of them shoulder barged me as we walked past/through them. About 3 police jumped and cuffed him within 5 seconds of barging me. Hope you had a good night in strangeways you scruffy rag bas*ard.

Hahaha yeah the only slither of light on a horrible gray day for me was that in your response. To touch on the other point, lettin' the rags go down grey mare lane was insane. We had a pint after the game in mary d's and watched it kick off big time outside. My mate nearly got kicked in the head off a police horse too. Chopper was circling round for ages.

I saw a load of running about 20 minutes after around the grassy bank at Mary D's. Not sure what it was about, possibly the police horses scattering a crowd waiting on United being let out.
There was also a load of young lads who called themselves the Blazing Squad at the Townley. They were gripped, lined up and filmed up and down on camcorder by the TAG vans before the match had even started. I didn't see them fighting but they did have a nice little song about it.

That is a very lucky escape. My brother in law got kicked in the head by a horse once and ended up with bleeding on the brain. Don't think it made his chopper circle round though.

I'm sorry but I'm blue through and through and i totally disagree with this. How can we condone this behaviour - if they were attacking us we complain and whine on about attacking women, elderley & children well I saw our own fans doing that yesterday too - it's an absolute disgrace - it's a game FFS
Woman, elderley, child and people that just don't want to fight should not be involved. But some of the rags deserve a little kick in the arse.
