That'll be a lot better than winding 40 minutes up the mountain in a packed transit van. They have put in a ski lift from belcekiz beach to babadag opened last year I think

Cheers mate, I’m going to go with whatever her Dad recommends (although atm it’s similar to what BinSA suggests, anything but Turkish Lira). You'll love it. Been to Kalkan in September for 7 years on the bounce but last year was cancelled so we're going twice this year, May and September. Always wondered what it was like earlier in the year so this year we're going to find out.
Keep an eye out for the turtles which hang around the harbour and public beach. My girlfriend got some fantastic underwater footage of them last time we were there.
Dropped a bollock though. Exchange rate last time we went was 8 lire to the pound so when it went to 10 I went against my better instincts and bought £750 worth. Now it's nearer 20 so I've lost £370 on my only ever foray into currency speculation. And, on that note, take sterling with you as just about any shop will give you a better exchange rate than you can get here.
I am normally on the beach & swimming in the sea in March as it usual nice and warm on the coastIt is usually cold. I spent 9 month in Ankara, cold is quite the norm at this time of year.
