It does make you feel sick. When I was looking through our accounts a couple of months ago it struck me that the season ticket revenue from the past two years didn't even cover RSC's transfer fee... However, we didn't start the fire. For a start, top footballers have always been paid very generously vis-a-vis the average salary. It's the natural outcome of a) competition b) thousands of people paying two dozen players. Then came along the Champions League where a £30+ million per annum prize enshrined oligarchy and incentivised gambling for those who wished to enter it. I don't blame City. We did NOT ruin football.

Good post but again the op isn't blaming City, unless I totally miss what he is saying.
 
Hate greedy footballers but I love City.

I support the name mainly as it stands for so much in my life. I'm not going to let the greed of some make me not love the club.

We can look at it another way. Our owners have a certain greed for making money but that is OK by us. We can't have it all our way.

a couple of months back a good friend of mine placed a self imposed ban on himself watching premier league football due to the issues the op raises. He's stuck to it so far too so fair play to him for that i guess.
 
Yeah I'm getting a West Ham season ticket for next year.

It's more in my comfort zone and the money I save on the meds will pay for the travel.

I was a seasoncard holder when City had some of there worst times in football, now I live abrord with my wife and kids I can not descibe how pianful it is not to be there now for the good times.

You dont now how lucky you are and all I can say is, GET A GRIP.
