Anyone contemplating Not renewing seasoncard?

I don't know why the op is getting so much stick, there is a lot wrong with modern football. Whilst City are getting stronger and stronger football as a whole has issues, usually attached to greed.

the op is entitled to write what they feel, but I enjoy watching City and it will be a cold day in hell before I cancel my seasoncard and I look forward to watching and cheering Carlos score another 20 goals for City as we march on. Just a quick question to the OP, if you had a son who was as good as Carlos, would you tell him to be humble and play for a pittance, or would tell him to look after number one?

I am talking about the broader picture here and raising the moral dilemma debate, yes we have always had footballers earning vast amounts of money but we have not seen the divide as great as it is now.(quarter of a million a week)
Its Christmas and moneys tight, perhaps that is tainting my view !

I understand the point you are making but unfortunalty the actions of one individual not renewing their season ticket will not make a difference to the football world.
My advice would be ask for money towards your season ticket for christmas and enjoy the ride.

I actually am,strange,bizare,stupid.....I know but the money.mercenaries, cheating .egos, it really does leave a bad taste in my mouth.
I feel like I am endorsing that type of behavior/greed when I hand over my cash.
Pull your self together, onwards and upwards.

me mate, not going again.

Indeed, I am also considering having a leg amputated so I can steal shoes from outside shops and hiding in motorway hedgerows when they are strimming them to save on haircuts.

Twins due in May will seriously put stress on already very tight finances.

Only just back from 3 years in SA and getting my season ticket again for this season was wonderful.

The thought of just not being able to afford one next year fills me with dread! :-(

Of course it would be better if the players paid the club to play, but to be honest i couldnt care less about anyones motives if MY Manchester City win.
This is club ive sulked about, argued over and even cried about.

Ive trudged off to stand on a cold hill at springfield park to watch us in some shite division.

Ive never regretted the path I chose.

how can you consider throwing your season ticket away? It wasnt that long ago that if you did that the club would post it back to you saying if we have to put up with this so do you.

Wish I lived in England on matchdays and could take it off your hands. :'(

Some day I will save enough money and time off work to get there and watch in the flesh. To those lucky enough to be there, keep going and enjoying.
