I don't know why the op is getting so much stick, there is a lot wrong with modern football. Whilst City are getting stronger and stronger football as a whole has issues, usually attached to greed.

I don't think he's talking about the standard of football, more the attitude of modern day football. I can see why it doesn't sit nicely with some people.
