Re CROWNE PLAZA

If you are STAYING at the hotel they will provide transport for you BUT YOU MUST INFORM THEM WHEN BOOKING OR CHECKING IN.

Sorry no deal on food and drink - Thursday is the busy night so they don't see the need to offer any promotions - sorry tried for you all.

Taxi to the ground from the centre of town (about 6 miles) no more than 5 pounds shared between 4, get a "silver cab",

Abu Dhabi golf club seems a good do for transport to and from the game but would be a trek to get there from town- however its not near anything else if you wanted to try different hotel bars.

Hope to see some of you in Heros on Thur.

Last (?) update re Crowne Plaza

Just to let you know – all Manchester City Fans staying in the hotel, will be given one free drink voucher on check-in as a welcome to the hotel. (as well as the shuttle bus)

Just received SMS from UK phone number (it starts with +447770xxxxxx) saying that

Invite to MCFC training session tonight. Register from 5-30pm. Report to Gate 2, service entrance Emirates Palace. See you there! MCFC

I think it could be in the beach side of the hotel and I don’t think the invitation is to restrict City fan from participation of the event.
I think it is to estimate how many participants, so that Emirate Palace can give service and prepared accordingly.

Hope everybody who’s now in UAE to be there.

Just came back from Emirates Palace.

You need to have you name in the guest list to entry the gate.

Security quard checked my name and I have no idea what happen if my name was not in the list.
Today Robinho was in full action in training and came to say hello to City fan, give us all the time of the world we need to taking picture with him, signing the autograph, kiss him if you want to, lol
Never feel happy that he injure, but if he is fit he will be with Brazil team.
