Anyone here go to Spurs 3-4 City in the FA Cup?

I asked a copper where is the nearest Spearmint Rhinos and he kindly gave us instructions to said place, that was at half-time.

Went with a mate of mine who is a Spurs fan (we were in the City end). He did ask me if I wanted to leave at half time to which I replied something along the lines of 'no, you enjoy yourself'. His face was a picture at full time!

We left at half time to get a beer before the train home
Thought everyone was taking the piss on the way home and didn't really believe it until I saw the score on teletext when I got in

How did the reaction to the 4th goal compare to that of Dickov/Aguero?

Measured a 6 to Dickov's 9 and Aguero's perfect 10

For those that watched at home, what are your memories of this game?
I was babysitting that evening, turned radio off at half time after Sir Barton of Joseph was sent off, thus ending the game for us, flicked the highlights on later and was stunned

first and only trip to white hart lane, nearly left at half time after we saw the amount of blues that left, i think we thought there was a mass boycott going on. glad we stayed though, big johnny macken, them were the days

I recall this game very well as my youngest lad Harvey-James was very poorly at the time in a London hospital with meningitis, He had been on the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit for two weeks fighting for his life, I had literally stood beside his bed for the whole duration, A friend had some tickets for the game a suggested I went as a break, although I felt guilty for going I needed a change even for just a couple of hours, I left at half time as yet again I knew I couldn’t rely on City and they duly didn’t let me down – But by the time I’d reached the young fella’s bedside we had secured a famous win and the blues had managed to make me smile for the first time in weeks – I truly believed at the time the result was sent from above and an even better result was the young fella battled back to full fitness and led the team out aged 8 in March 2011 as mascot.

Never mind the spurs one. Who was at Torquay away 1982 on a Wednesday night 0-0 bore draw.

-- Mon Apr 01, 2013 11:56 pm --

Great story fella makes you realise what life and supporting a club is all about. Still think Torquay away was more exciting though!
