Open question to all those so called ITK's. Fair enough if Mourinho came in and then signed these superstars then that's lovely, despite me being £50.00 down to what is an awesome charity (Supermans) so I don't mind that much. Back on topic, why would they sign for what is likely to be a simple top eight, top ten club? Why would they sign on the strength of the manager? It just defies belief.

Tell you what lads, give me a percentage. How confident are you that Mark Hughes shall be relieved of his duties and that he shall be replaced by Jose Mourinho? (that manager in particular)

I don't know why but unlike everyone else I'm not particularly buying into all this.

CTID, Dont get me wrong I have reservations but mainly because I cant believe that we are in the position of even possibly having this calibre of individual at MCFC. I would be delighted if it hapened (albeit a little sympathetic towards Hughes as I feel he has done well as the season has progressed), but if we have a chance of these people we have to take it.

What % would you feel confident about from Tolmie and Rammy ?
im sure rammy said on another thread hes not ITK he just thinks itll happen

I think your right
I was under the impression that Rammy is certain Jose is coming but he's not claimed to be ITK

Does it really defy belief?

If I was a player and Mourinho took a job somewhere then immediately I would be thinking he has gone there because big things are going to happen. Mourinho has his pick of jobs so he would not take the City job for any other reason than to win the Prem and win the Champions League. If I had been approcahed while hughes was in charge I would consider it but I may not go on the basis of not knowing Hughes, whereas Mourinho would instantly gain my respect and just might make me sign on the dotted line!

I think this is the key to it all. I think Hughes will be a successful Manager but as I mentioned earlier if we can do it quicker and also make that statement that we are here and here for a long time then what better way than appointing arguably the most sought after Manager in Europe along with 2,3, 4 etc signings that no-one would really expect

So in other words Jose wants to come, there's a few who don't want him @ City though but they're in the minority?

Those that dont want him need their head testing. I am not a Hughes out maniac and if he stays he stays but if Jose wants the job then he MUST be given it!

I agree with that

Why? He'd cost more in wages. Haven't you heard of the credit crunch? :p

Seem to remember when SGE was told to report to the dole centre, everyone wanted JM as his successor claiming he is the only one they'd want above him.

He'd have to get rid of those Matalan coats though, with how loaded the owners are and the wages they'd be paying him I'm sure they'd hope he'd buy a more expensive and stylish coat! Haha!

This minority still has a fully respected/influential/informed opinion.

But believe they won't call the shots if it comes to it.

Suppose it is a similar conflict of interest as January with the attempt to make a rapid progression forward with Kaka.
